School and Home, Together.
Edenbrook brings school and home together, creating an intentional rhythm where exceptional classroom instruction and meaningful parent partnership work hand in hand. It’s an approach designed to give children the academic foundation they need while giving families something equally valuable—the opportunity to remain deeply involved in how their children learn and grow.
The University ModelEdenbrook’s University-Model is designed to make every hour of a child’s education count, combining focused classroom instruction with intentional learning beyond the classroom. By spending fewer hours in a traditional school setting while extending learning into the home, students gain the academic rigor, independence, family partnership, and real-world rhythms that help them thrive both in school and beyond it.
A Smarter School Week.
Edenbrook’s weekly schedule is intentionally designed to create a better rhythm between focused classroom instruction, meaningful learning at home, and family life. Students receive the structure and expertise of professional educators while developing independence and reinforcing what they’ve learned beyond the classroom. It’s a thoughtful approach that makes every school day—and every day at home—an opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

In the earliest years at Edenbrook, we focus on building a strong academic foundation while protecting the wonder of childhood. Kindergarten through 3rd grade students benefit from focused classroom instruction where teachers introduce and develop essential skills in reading, writing, mathematics, biblical understanding, and the world around them, while home-learning days provide meaningful opportunities to practice and reinforce those concepts alongside a parent. Rather than filling an entire day simply because that is what traditional school requires, our model prioritizes purposeful instruction, age-appropriate learning, movement, creativity, and meaningful family time. These formative years are about developing more than academic skills—they are about cultivating curiosity, confidence, responsibility, and a genuine love of learning.

As students enter 4th and 5th grade, the Edenbrook model begins to place a greater emphasis on independence, responsibility, and ownership of learning. Focused classroom days provide students with direct instruction, meaningful discussion, collaboration, and preparation for increasingly rigorous academic work, while home-learning days give them space to apply concepts, complete purposeful assignments, and develop the habits of time management and self-direction that will serve them well in higher learning. Parents remain important partners in the process, but students are gradually equipped to take greater responsibility for their own education—building the confidence, discipline, and academic maturity needed for what comes next.

At Edenbrook, parents are not expected to become teachers overnight—they are invited to become confident partners in their child’s education. Our educators provide the instruction, resources, and direction families need to successfully continue learning at home, and when a concept feels difficult to explain, you never have to navigate it alone. Every school day, our Parent + Student Resource Room is available for families to work together on campus, with Edenbrook educators available to answer questions, reteach concepts, and even walk parents through how to teach or reinforce a lesson at home. It creates a partnership where teachers equip parents, parents invest in their children, and students experience consistency between school and home.
